family business, which is great, and a link with the past, with Blackheath as was. My husband thinks they’re the future too: ‘Because more and more this kind of trusted brand is going to be important. Everything we’ve ever bought for them has been top quality.’

I recently went to the Fabric Shop to choose some curtain fabric for my sitting room windows. There is a huge selection of fabrics to choose from, which was rather overwhelming for me. However, Louise took a lot of time listening to what we wanted and was able to present a number of options which could then whittle down to our final choice.
Louise dropped off fabrics at our home, so that we could see what the fabrics looked like in our room and liaised with Darren, the fantastic curtain fitter, to ensure that work was done to fit in with our availability.
Both Louise and Jayne maintained great communication with us, so that we knew what was happening at each stage. The curtains are now in place and look wonderful.
We would definitely recommend the Fabric Shop both for the fabrics and the service.

Had my hair highlighted at Chandler Wright hairdressers in Blackheath, and was delighted with the result. Very professional and friendly service. Will be going back.

The crepes and the ice cream is great, the coffee is good and the pastries (especially the Natas) are fab. personally I’m not too keen on the cakes, but I think that’s more personally taste than anything else, definitely recommend
