We are located in the heart of Blackheath Village since moving from Rotherhithe in 1992. We are, and always will be, a carcass butchers. This means our meat is always butchered on the premises in front of the customer and never out of a vacuum-sealed bag. Working this way we always know the age, quality and welfare of the produce.
We also manufacture many of our own products ourselves on site so we know exactly what goes into them. These include our wide range of handmade burgers and sausages, Scotch beef wellingtons, cured meats such as biltong and droëwors and many others.
Quality produce and excellence service is always our priority at John Charles so anything is possible. Whether its a 28 day dry aged Scotch T-bone, cut straight from the carcass, or just a snack of Homemade biltong for the journey to work, we're always happy to help.
