The Times…the slow movement of Dvorak radiated warmth.The Strad\n\n\n\nThe Czech Wihan Quartet is an exceptional ensemble who have performed at Blackheath Halls on many occasions, including their outstanding cycle of the complete Beethoven Quartets in 2008. The Quartet are well-known for their exceptional performances of their native Czech repertoire, and this concert includes Janacek’s very personal ‘Intimate Letters’ and one of Dvorak’s most popular works, the ‘American’.
